'If you look at a lot of people who are big terrorists...management people have to [learn] from them: their networking, their leadership quality etc. [appears to be] very intelligent...but deep within, [it is] very stupid...we can be intelligent, but our basic foolishness isn't going away.'

Chintan Shibir was a conclave organized by the Gujarat Government for Members of the Cabinet, inlcuding IAS and IPS officers. Held at Rann of Kutch, it was attended by some of the leading dignitaries of the country, including Prime Minister Modi and Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam. The session on the second day began with Swamiji's powerful address on Leadership and Management.

Swamiji speaks to the cricket team, the Delhi Daredevils about mastery of the mind. Sports, like anything in life, requires commitment, dedication and passion. It's a mind game, where the psyche of the players makes as much difference to winning as losing as the laws of physics.

Managing Life Creatively

There are 5 zones of personal well being that we should all focus on: family, work, financial, spiritual and intimate. Balancing these zones for a happy and healthy living requires creativity and a certain amount of personal management skill.

This 2-day workshop by Swami Sukhabodhananda deals with these 5 zones and how we can work to improve ourselves in these areas to live a better quality of life.

We have 2 workshops coming up:

Dates:5th, 12th April.
Place: United States of America

Existential Laboratory

Why are we here? What is our purpose? How do we deal with loss and conflict? These are all questions that come up quite regularly in our life, but we rarely have time to address them. The Existential Laboratory facilitates a process where we can explore these questions through a series of dynamic and passive meditation techniques.

Conducted by Swami Sukhabodhananda, the program takes place in the midst of nature, away from the stress and challenges of everyday life.

Dates: 7th to the 10th of May
Place: Whitefield, Bangalore, India

Featured book: The Art of Wise Parenting

Ever wonder if you are doing the right thing as a parent? In a rapidly changing world of limited resources and strong competition, how do you equip a child with the tools they need to be balanced, happy individuals? Parents today face tough circumstances; they must balance work pressure with family life, modernity with tradition, independance with a rooted upbringing. Parenting can be one of the toughest challenges anyone chooses to take on. The options are varied and the choices difficult. Swamiji's book on how to be a good parent uses his trademark blend of humour and poignantly relevant stories to provide you with tools for parenthood. Buy our books here.

Our Chapters are extensions of the Prasanna Trust family. Present across many locations around India, our chapter members work to spread Swamiji's message to as many people as possible. Headed by a Chairperson, each chapter holds regular meetings or satsangs for members to join together and carry out activities. For public programs, publications and social activities in your area, please contact your local Chapter Chairperson here.
