VISION 2020 PROGRAMS
'For whatever is created is first created in the mind'
It is expected that India will be a super power by 2020. It will, however, be a 'young' superpower, given that close to 41% of the country's population is less than 18 years1 of age. Children, therefore, are not just our future. They are very much our present. Defining and shaping our country’s socio-cultural and economic fabric, they represent the latent potential that could catapult India into new paradigms of progress and development.
Under the guidance of Swamiji, our Vision 2020 Empowerment initiative aims to nourish and cultivate this potential through workshops that help youth address some of their most pressing concerns. These workshops are designed to nurture their psychological wellbeing and improve their capacity, so that they become balanced, well-rounded individuals that can take on the responsibility of building a superpower.
Birla Sunlife Asset Management under the leadership of Mr. K. S. Rao has given a corporate sanction to take this vision forward to hundreds schools covering four districts of Karnataka namely - Udupi, Chikmagalur, Hassan and Belary. Our special thanks to Birla Sunlife Asset Management for their corporate social responsibility initiative in educating the needy with a powerful vision.
